However, climbing, hiking and other outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
By booking or participating in a The Approach activity, you confirm that:
- You understand that participation in climbing, hiking and other outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury.
- You are taking part voluntarily and accept these inherent risks.You are physically fit to participate and will inform The Approach of any medical condition, injury or medication that may affect your participation.
- You agree to follow all instructions provided by The Approach instructors and to use equipment as directed.
- You understand that outdoor activities are influenced by factors such as weather, terrain and the actions of other participants.
- You agree to behave responsibly and in a manner that does not place yourself or others at unnecessary risk.
- You understand that The Approach reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a participant from an activity if their behaviour is considered unsafe.
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this Participant Declaration.
Participants Under 18
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by, or have the written consent of, a parent or legal guardian, depending on the activity.
A parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and accept this declaration on behalf of the participant.
