Cathy is thrilled to be working with Landmark again after playing Kyra in the company’s acclaimed inaugural production of Skylight .
Recent theatre credits include Aristocrats, The Hanging Gardens, The House, John Gabriel Borkman with Alan Rickman (Abbey Theatre); A View from the Bridge, A Woman of No Importance (Gate Theatre); Women in Arms (Storytellers – Irish Times Best Supporting Actress nomination); Wonderful Tennessee (Sheffield Theatre); and the Irish premiere of Frank McGuinness’s one-woman play The Match Box (Galway International Arts Festival – Irish Times Best Actress Award nomination). She recently appeared in Druid Theatre Company’s production of Helen and I, directed by Annabelle Comyn.
Cathy Belton’s recent screen credits include Philomena; A Little Chaos, directed by Alan Rickman; and My Name Is Emily, directed by Simon Fitzmaurice.
Television credits include the new Alison Spittle TV series Nowhere Fast (Deadpan Productions, RTÉ); the series regular role of Patricia in Red Rock for TV3, produced by Element/Company Pictures; Scúp (Stirling Television/TG4/RTÉ); and Roy (Jam Media Ireland/CBBC (UK)/BBC) – BAFTA Children’s Awards for Best Drama and Best Writer, and IFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress for TV.
Cathy will soon appear as Mrs Hartright in the new BBC1 TV series The Woman in White.
