Aisling is an associate artist with Druid Theatre Company. Aisling’s previous work for Druid includes Maureen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Maggie in Big Maggie, Hal/Henry V in DruidShakespeare, Dolly in Bailegangaire, The Colleen Rua in The Colleen Bawn, Widow Quinn in The Playboy of the Western World (Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress).

For the Abbey Theatre she played Vera in The Wake, Catherine in Marble, Lily in Lay Me Down Softly, Nuala in The Cavalcaders, Maeve in Famine and Maggie in The Power of Darkness.

Other theatre work includes Olive Day in Crestfall (Gate Theatre); Miss Julie in Miss Julie (Haymarket Theatre, London); The Duchess in The Duchess of Malfi (Royal Shakespeare Company); Solange in The Maids (Young Vic); Katherina in Slavs (Hampstead Theatre); Jessica in Hysteria (Royal Court); The File in Mutabilitie, Croce in Liolà and Slippy Helen in The Cripple of Inishmaan (National Theatre, London); and Pegeen Mike in The Playboy of the Western World (Almedia Theatre, London).

Film and television work includes Dark Lies the Island; The Secret Scripture; Snap; The Butcher Boy; Raw (Series 2 to 5); The Clinic (Series 1 to 5; Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actress); and Cracker.
